Sires Pedigree

Hillden 77-14
Purchased for $10,000. Full brother to Hillden’s 123-10 ‘Easy-as’ that won 4 major championships in 2011. Solid, well-muscled with an excellent temperament.

Rosewood 11-14
Beautiful ram with very impressive Stockscan results. Inherited the attributes of his sire with much more muscling.

Rosewood 8-13
Combines the bulk of his sire with the length and height of his dam’s Gererdan Eclipse line. Sire of the 2017 Grand Champion ewe at the NSW Dorset Championship demonstrating his compatibility with our Abelene Park sired ewes. Born as a triplet many of his joining result in multiple birth lambs.

Rosewood 6-13
Inherited the length, height and muscling of his father. Born a quadruplet he has sired many multiple birth lambs.

Hillden 850-12
Tremendously well-balanced and muscled ram of the Hillden 800 line. Has ‘clicked’ very well with ewes to produce some very impressive, fast growing lambs.

Rosewood 291-12
Son of Hillden 151 from the Hillden 300 line. Long and tall, well muscled with a cheeky temperament.

Abelene Park 176-12
Purchased as a 10 month old weighing 128kg. Has tremendous length, height and neck extension. Bare breeched. Purchased with the aim of combining his attributes with the muscle and growth of the stud ewes.

Hillden 999-11
Has an impressive frame being tall, long and big boned. Carries the genetics of 2 of Hillden's most successful sires. Throwing quick developing progeny with very good figures.

Rosewood 1-10
Son of Hillden 108-05. Combined the best attributes of his sire's genetics with those of the Gererdan Stud's Independent line.

Hillden 151-10
We first noticed this ram as a young animal at the Crookwell Show. He is the son of Hillden 300-08 that was first at the Australasian Championship at Bendigo. Remarkable for his height, length and hindquarter muscling. Sire of a lot of our highest indexed sale rams.

Rosewood 72-09
Son of Hillden 79-10. Structurally correct sheep with a huge loin and rump and terrific overall muscling.

Tattykeel 93-09
Has genetics that trace back to Hillden 44-00(Colt) and has thrown true to his sire and grandsire. An impressive, very well muscled ram producing fast growing, meaty progeny.

Hillden 79-06
Purchased mainly because he is the son of Hillden 44-00 known as Colt. Genetics from this ram were sought by many top class Dorset studs. Very deep in the barrel and has great muscling of the hind quarters. Used extensively in the stud with a lot of success.

Hillden 108-05
Had an excellent temperament as well as correctness of structure with a long straight back, square in the rump, smooth through the shoulders and good neck extension. Purchased because he had all the major attributes to start us along the path of breeding the type of sheep we were aiming for. The majority of the current stud ewes have his bloodline.
